NaNaWriMo

I don't expect to "win" NaNoWriMo this year.  I've only just made it to 32,000 and I'm close to the climax.  Even though I expect to finish the story and even edit it, this one feels like work where last year's felt like play.  I would like to hear from writers what you think causes the difference.
Once I finish I'll post about my Portland trip.

greetings

My wife put out a call for typewritten birthday greetings for me.  She got a couple, one of which was typed on the adler in the dining room.  It was a lovely gesture I wanted to share with the typosphere.

still behind here's some borrowed content

I'm happy to have passed 15,000, but chagrined that I should be at 25,000.
So no typecast as I get back to work.  Here's a funny making the rounds.
I really liked this one.  The whole group can be found here

Hey look over there ========================>

new word war widget I populated with typospherians.
I can't seem to get it to work with Richard.  It's either the space or the period.  I even tried the null character.

let me know if I should remove you

whoa - behind already!

Olympia NaNoWriMo typewrite-in

Followers may recall I have long wanted to hold a type-in down in Olympia for the convenience of Little Flower Petals.  National Novel Writing Month provided a good excuse for it as well as much-needed assistance finding the location.  I looked up the Olympia group and found their write-ins, then asked the captain if we could barge in toward the end of it.  She was very enthusiastic so we are welcome and have a place to go.

It's called Sizizis Coffee House, and appears to be pretty easy to find.  I will be there Sunday Nov. 13 at about 11 a.m. I hope any typers and/or writers will join me there.
RSVP in comments or g+ or just show up.

So depending on turnout we will either be a typewriter squad or platoon, right?
