Huh? are you sure there's not another number somewhere in the Brother serial number? 1971 doesn't make sense with the wire paper holder, and only 6 digits and a letter seems odd.
That's a lovely fix, Peter! I admit to being quite sad about what happened to the Tippa, but this looks really good - from a distance it is just about imperceptible. Nice save!
