Clever! I'm marking this post "needs more typewriters" because you need a second one on the left to balance you out. :)
Excellent use of a Corsair! It's probably nearly weatherproof, too, in case you hit a damp patch. I'm trying to think of an excuse to haul mine to the poolside this summer...
I did end up mounting one on the other side - the same one, as I'd realized that side is pressed against my wife's bike on the rack and wouldn't fit.
I think like Richard you your bike: you need a typewriter on both sides. I like my Skyriter for my bike. I use the top rack for it.
