I've always wanted a Safari but I've stopped myself from acquiring one because I've read several reviews about how it doesn't have a good touch or is not elegant. Could you describe the typing feel a bit more? Is it stiff?
Not so much "stiff" as "heavy," I'd say. As if the mechanism was weighted and balanced for a larger machine and there's a counterweight missing. It's not bad on the spectrum really - better than a Brother, but not as good as an earlier Royal.
The capital S of the script machine is just superb! As is the I. I love attention to detail like that. Thanks for sharing!
