Apparently it went for $199 in 2016 and is now out of stock. It seems to have come from/been connected with this site and there appear to be a number of posts complaining about the quality of the machine (jams and alignment mostly).
Huh. What do you think?
Oh yes, people noticed this in the Facebook group and elsewhere. It is apparently the same as the Royal Epoch. I recently got an Epoch which I review here.

DeleteThey sold it at Michael's. Apparently you missed the hubbub all over the facebook group and typosphere when it debuted. I think Michael's might still sell ribbons and such, in some pretty cool colors, but for $10 a spool and the ribbons are short!
