Ah, the old "storage" gambit. A classic.
ReplyDeleteI too have a Selectric and way too many elements, although mine is one of the older, rounder models.
Too funny that she had all of those elements. Courier and prestige elite I get, but script? Hmm...
I've got an original Selectric as well. Can't resist those curves. It came with a Script element and I had an Artisan element from my Selectric II before I sold it.
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of the Artisan element, watch it around Strikethru. She is quite fond of that typeface. I'm not saying that she'd fontnap it from you, but if it comes up missing, well, I'm just sayin'...
My mother is still bitter that the correcting selectric II came out a month after she bought hers, which helps date it. one owner. I can hardly wait to see it again.
