I always feel a little strange expressing sympathies to someone that I have met only virtually, and usually by virtue of posts after-the-fact (like this one)... but the Typosphere has made us all something a little closer than hobbyists, something a little farther apart than family.
ReplyDeleteI'm not really sure where this is going, other than to express my sympathies for you and your family: I know this loss was not entirely unexpected, but that doesn't lessen the sorrow.
My condolensces to you. Savour the memories, sir, and be kind to yourself and your loved ones during these times.
ReplyDeleteIt is the least we can do, being so far away! I hope things have calmed down for you and you were able to enjoy your type-in on Saturday. It was nice seeing you virtually for a few minutes last week!
