  1. Good luck on your restoration. An old fellow who lived in the town where I grew up always said when something was stuck, "let it soak a few days in coal oil (kerosene) it'll loosen anything." And it generally did. I never had to try it on a typewriter though.

  2. I think I saw that one, too! I wish you most excellent luck fixing it. A broken drawband is easy, right? When I fixed the Parva, I replaced the old drawband with a piece of nylon, and it's working pretty well so far.
