is that 1969?

  1. Ton-signal activated!

Very cool find, Peter, congrats. Although I still consider Studio 44 superior in terms of touch. The 45 is a lighter touch indeed but not as assured as the 44.

Okay, where did you find this and don't tell me it cost $10!

    1. I agonized over it in the Goodwill last year - at $17 it was pretty expensive at a time I wasn't flush.

  2. Oh yes, I woulda liberated that one for $17 even with a Pica typeface. Very nice find! (:

    1. I like to leave those provenance labels on them, good spotting.

I'll add the user's manual to my online collection.

  5. My God, that's an obscure film reference! Walter Matthau and Glenda Jackson, if memory serves me correctly. Circa 1979-1980? I'm too busy to Google it right now.
Very nice Olivetti you got there, NA. I had a quick tap on my Lettera 32 the other day and was instantly reminded of why I like it so much.
    Enjoy and congrats!
