rough year so far

rather than make you guess, I'll tell you left to right is a fan I didn't detail, the Lettera 32, the Adler under its cover, a plastic case and a lap desk.  In the foreground, also not detailed, is a tray.

  1. Sorry to hear about your mother. My Wife & I will keep you both in our prayers. Hope she has a speedy and full recovery.
    Nice drawing.

  2. Fingers crossed your January gets better from here on.

  3. Let's hope that was enough bad luck for this year.

  4. Really sorry you've had such a rough start to the new year. I hope your mother recovers quickly.

  5. I do hope your mother will be OK!

  6. I'm sending you and your mother positive, healing energy for her full recovery. What a rough time! My heart goes out to you.

Excellent drawing! I immediately recognized the 32 case; looks exactly like mine (32 in script typeface bought from Mike Clemens awhile back).

Best wishes for a MUCH better 2012 real soon!

  7. Ditto what Cameron said; healing energy from the East Coast, especially for your mother, but also for your arm.

  8. Thanks everyone. She's doing ok but it will be a long recovery I suspect.

  9. Yikes. Hope your mom does OK. It always sucks when parents ail.

In other news, it sounds like you're getting all your bad luck out of the way early this year! You'll be glad when it's autumn and you have nothing but good luck left.

  10. "It's not the load that breaks you's the way you carry it."

Sorry to hear of your mother's health trouble. Hang in there, and take pleasure in the positives wherever you find them. Sometimes, all it takes is a .99cent box of Crayolas.
    Take care.

Let me know if capcha comes back. Thanks for commenting.
