Great machine! Looks brand-new; the keys are nice and shiny.
ReplyDeleteYet another great find! Congratulations! How do you do it? Looks like it's in superb condition, too.
ReplyDeleteI'm still hoping for a pica Lettera 32 someday...though my longing has cooled significantly since the 31 came along in its little blue plastic box. Said box kinda cracks me up compared to the elegant cases the more serious Letteras get.
It had a receipt in the case for a cleaning and paper bail repair in July 1980 at Warren Office Equipment of Kent, WA who left their mark on the front. They must have done a good job.
ReplyDeleteSpectacular find, really -- I am green with envy! This is what I've wanted since starting to collect typewriters: one with script font. Congrats!
ReplyDeleteYou lucky, lucky hound! Cursive, even. You are a hunter to be envied, sirrah!
ReplyDeleteCan't.
ReplyDeleteFlippin'.
Believe it.
What are the odds of such a find in the wild? Man, you must have some severely good typewriter karma.
Notagain, please buy that Lettera 32! That is the ONLY other one I have EVER seen with a "1" key. Very rare.
ReplyDeleteI got it for $7 plus tax, about half the sticker price because it was at the outlet store. i would have gladly paid the $14.99 sticker for this one.
ReplyDeleteNice find! The case reminds me of rally stripes. :)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations, Peter! One more score from the typewriter magnet!
