The HH is a fine machine. Not so easy to paint for the average type-rehabber, though. The sides of the body are part of the frame. I ended up taping mine up with tons of tape and newspaper to get mine painted. Then I donated the doggone thing. Now looking for another HH...
I've not yet tried painting. this one I just wanted to hide the mottling, whatever that was, on the lid so I stained it with india ink to make a two-tone look. It does seem to be a good machine.
Pretty clever, using India ink. There's quite a lot of colors available in drawing inks. I wonder if you could sponge these on to a crinkle-paint machine to dress it up? Hmmm...
ooo. black is always classic!

Black is good. Black with neon racing stripes is better. Time to check out the auto parts store.
ReplyDeleteooh has anyone succeeded in backlighting the logo?
