"Breakthrough" sounds right up my alley...enough so that I immediately ran to the library and picked it up. Looking forward to reading it--thanks for the review!
ReplyDeletegreat - hope you like it. I use the library all the time, I have cards for Tacoma, Pierce and King counties.
ReplyDeleteI ended up finishing it already...found it very hard to put down. Big thanks for the recommendation!
ReplyDeleteBanting obviously had some...issues, shall we say, but I think she really tried to give a sympathetic portrayal. He seemed to do a lot better with children and dogs than he did with co-workers, for sure. Wow...talk about office politics!
Yeah unfortunately for me I rather identified with him...
ReplyDeleteI loved that scene where he meets Elizabeth and gives her insulin.
