*waves to everyone*
ReplyDeleteWish I could have been there. I have typewriters out, though, so I'm kind of a virtual participant. Kinda.
Love the typeface on the Remington Noiseless! Well, at least the sans-serif-ness of it; I hadn't realized Art Gothic would be quite so small. Who knows, maybe they made a pica-sized version as well...
ReplyDeleteNice to see you at the type-in. What a gorgeous day it was in Seattle today.
ReplyDeleteThat tiny typeface was for labeling small items like microscope slides, etc. It's going to write scale models of letters and typecasts
ReplyDeleteRemington Art Gothic does come in different sizes. My Remy Scout has Art Gothic in Pica size (10cpi).
ReplyDeleteSo, how did the Type-In go? any new people?
Ahh, the Art Gothic. I need me a machine that has that typeface, it's my very favorite.
ReplyDeleteLooks like you got to try some cool typers! You should post a review of the Type-In, I'm curious to see how it went!
You had a nice selection of machines to play with. Was there any interest from other patrons?
ReplyDeleteyes a few nice fellows I'd never met. one of them got video of the noiseless. I hope he posts it soon.
ReplyDeleteI don't know if he has a blog. I am emailing him though.
