I've put in a bid on this. If you're after it, I'll drop out at about 32 bucks - I wanted it about 50 max with shipping if possible. That's very high for me, so I don't know if I'll be relieved if I lose.
wish me luck, or go ahead and take it big spender - just let me know who gets it if it's some typospherian.

Very nice little machine! Mine is having some ribbon advancing problems but I love her anyway. I love the round keys on the one you're looking at here.
ReplyDeleteAnd I like that you're asking the 'sphere to take it easy on the bidding. We all want the same thing: for other collectors to be happy and further the cause! I noticed that toriforte over at Carriage Return is doing the same thing. Godspeed!!!
Good luck! I'm not bidding against you (:
ReplyDeleteI noticed that too and thought it was a good idea. If anyone wants it more than $32 worth, go for it. Save me from myself LOL.
ReplyDeleteTruly nice machine. Stylish and durable and with good feel. Bought one that seems very similar (round keys, dun color) on eBay a month ago or so. The action's a little spongy on mine. Eraser dung, probably. I have been busy and have yet to fully clean it. Good luck.
