very weird! who would order a typewriter like that? where are the lists from which they selected their typeface? the commonest of machines can be the most mysterious.
That is the coolest typeface ever! I have only seen it one other time (not in person), on a pink Smith Corona Silent Super that was being auctioned off on eBay - went for almost $200, as I recall. It's like script on steroids - super curly, super girly... love it!

Deseret is the LDS version of St. Vinnies. We have one here too. I'm pretty sure that's where I got my $4.95 1947 Royal QDL many years ago. since then, not so lucky.

Very, very unusual typeface. Good find! (This is a good candidate for making a font.)
