Carbon paper! I <3 carbon paper - Especially because my Corona Four doesn't have a ribbon with enough ink to write anything. :D
ReplyDeleteSounds like a MasterCard commercial. Paper supplies for typing, $5. Old Royal De Luxe, $25. Sharing copies of your short stories with family... priceless.
ReplyDeleteI saw some carbon paper in my local Staples the other day. I'm kind of kicking myself for not picking it up.
I remember two types of 'carbon' paper. One being like tracing paper with an almost waxy finish (made a sound when you peeled it off the paper) and the other was very black, matt finish on some synthetic substrate, like thin mylar. Didn't stretch or tear. I'm 99% sure I still have some, but where? ...and something in my memory says that you could get bright-coloured 'carbon' paper... or am I just dreaming?
ReplyDeleteYeah this pack is the first type. I may have a sheet or two of the second, and I do recall different colors, which I think are still obtainable online.
