I didn't get pictures this time, darnit. I'll have to steal pictures from the others. I had a great time though.

Visibility was so-so from this end (wish I could have read the messages held up to the camera) but it sounded and looked like a lot of fun. Thanks for going through all the trouble to let me and Adwoa eavesdrop!
ReplyDeleteYay, another great recap! I'm never going to get over how cool it is to be mentioned as having taken part, even if it was for a very brief while. Glad I could contribute the international aspect :-)
ReplyDeleteThat's funny that you're wondering how to pronounce my name. Perhaps it should be the subject of a typecast on RTG? It's Aj-wa, rhymes with Angela (but with one less syllable). Easy, see? One of these days we'll go over it during a virtual type-in.
I've always liked Hermes script and you are so lucky to receive Strikethru's H3000! Have fun with it :)
Heh heh, I forgot about our "How do we pronounce Adwoa's name" discussion. I guess it's settled now.
ReplyDeleteThat was a fun day. Hopefully we can do it again soon.
There you have it! I don't think a single one of us guessed correctly, either!
ReplyDeleteI'm afraid we had a certain amount of fun at your expense, Adwoa! We got to talking about typewriter hunting in Switzerland, as perceived based on your blog: "I walked out the door this morning and tripped over three typewriters, but they were just boring old Hermes 3000s, so I left them where they were..." ;)
Also discussed: the awesome kindness and generosity of Speculator of La Vie Graphite. There were at least some of his pencils in attendance, for one thing!
LFP - That is hilarious! I can't deny that I have left quite a few Hermes 3000s behind in the past year. It's been a while since the last one, so perhaps the supply is drying up... I hope not! I need to keep making you all jealous :-)
